Planet Sub (or Yello Sub) is a growing QSR based in Kansas City Missouri. They are an all fresh brand. Planet Sub makes their whole wheat bread from scratch in their stores every day. They also take pride in serving all fresh meats, cheeses, and veggies.

In addition to claiming that they offer a uniquely satisfying meal, the company also advertises that its stores are unique. In their own words, "although all of our stores are consistent in many ways, each one is unique – reflecting the personality of each team and the character of the community."
Many of the chain's restaurants use playing cards in the place of order numbers.

History
The original Yello Sub submarine sandwich store was opened in Lawrence, Kansas in 1979. The Planet Sub franchise opened its first store in Kansas City, Kansas in 1998. Since the flagship store was begun, Planet Sub has opened up more than 25 stores across the Great Plains and plans for double digit expansion into the Dallas market are on the agenda for future growth.
