Since 1993, the founders of HAWA Bamboo & Wood Products have upheld a mission to help reduce the dependence on dwindling timber resources by manufacturing competitively priced, sustainable harvested bamboo flooring. In June of 1999, the company established a distribution center in Sayreville, New Jersey, USA which is located adjacent to many major highways.

Within a short time we established a vast distribution network throughout the United States. In 2003 we began to import pre-finished White Oak flooring, made in our own factory located in Chenzhou, China to compliment our Bamboo flooring. In 2007, Hawa invested and secured controlling ownership in a new flooring business venture in the north of China, near the Russian border. This new company is known as HAWA-MUSEN Wood Product Company Ltd. We import the raw white oak lumber from Russia to produce white oak flooring in this new factory using modern, sophisticated manufacturing machinery.
