Jil Sander Navy delivers boyish in Spring 2014

For spring, Jil Sander Navy was all about a refined, sporty look with utilitarian references. A salmon-pink bomber jacket paired with a mint cotton midi skirt set the tone for silhouettes — this season, the collection was heavy on jackets as opposed to longer coats, while skirts were longer. Everything was cut away from the body, lending dresses a slight trapeze shape.
Among the standouts: a pink cotton button-up number with navy underlay. Trousers were also generously cut or wide-legged, while perforated cotton tops and skirts as well as leather pieces gave the collection its textural appeal.
