Managing Principal

Bob Kleinert is a Managing Principal and heads the firm's Capital Raising Group at Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. Mr. Kleinert, who joined the firm in September 2001, is responsible for managing the capital raising process across all product lines, including debt, equity, trust preferred securities and structured finance. Prior to this, Mr. Kleinert was Chairman of CSJ Investments and, before that, was Head of Debt and Equity Syndicate at Salomon Brothers during his nearly 20-year career with the company.
 
Mr. Kleinert holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University.
