Investors interested in investing in Regional Center’s approved capital investment projects will receive detailed subscription agreement for the project.  Once the investor accepts the investment, the investor will execute the required offering documents and deposit $500,000 into the escrow fund for the project. The investor will provide the necessary documentation to the immigration attorney in order to complete the form I-526 and submit the application to the USCIS.

Unless otherwise agreed, upon approval of the I-526, funds will be released from the escrow account to the project. The immigration attorney will submit the visa application to the U.S. Consulate and upon approval the investor will receive a 2-year conditional green card.

Approximately 2 years later, the immigration attorney will submit form I-829 to remove the conditional status.  When the conditional status is removed, the investor then becomes a permanent resident. After 5 years, the investor may enjoy the right to apply for U.S. citizenship.
