USCIS has updated the count ofH2B visa petitions received and counted towards the fiscal year 2014 employment. As of November 8, 2013, USCIS has approved filings on behalf of approximately 7,478 beneficiaries for the 1st half of FY 2014.

Note: Target Beneficiaries refers to the estimated number of beneficiaries needed to be included on petitions filed with USCIS to reach the H-2B cap, with an allowance for withdrawals, denials and revocations.  This number will always be higher than the actual cap.
