Lakeview Organics have been supplying local restaurants and hotels for nearly 20 years with fresh, seasonal organic produce.
Being a chef, Stephen knows the importance of quality and regularly attends local markets with potted vegetables, vegetable seedlings and fresh herbs for the home gardener.
An ongoing process of composting, mulching, building up the microbes and worm populations, has enabled us to grow a selection of seasonal organic vegetables and herbs.
We save our own seeds and buy in heirloom varieties, planting with the moon phases and follow strict organic procedures. This has allowed us to produce tasty vegetables with a long shelf life.
All vegetables are picked the morning before each market to ensure the highest quality. Herbs are sold as living plants in 6 inch pots, for your convenience to either use from a sunny window sill or to plant out in your garden.
Their speciality during the months of October and November is the range of 24 assorted heirloom tomato plants sold in 8 inch pots, most with flowers and ready to plant out.
Below is a list of the most popular vegetables, availability is seasonal:
Salad Mix, Beans, Silverbeet, Cauliflowers, Snow Peas, Gourmet Potatoes, Assorted Pumpkins, Broccoli, Asparagus, Spinach, Zucchini and Heirloom Tomatoes.
