UrgentRx, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, was founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Jordan Eisenberg.
UrgentRx makes a line of fast-acting, OTC medications that are flavored and powdered. The products can be taken without water and come in single-dose, credit card-sized packets. UrgentRx was initially developed for heart attack victims and now makes medications for everyday ailments such as headaches, aches and pains, allergies, heartburn, and upset stomach.
The Company's first product, Critical Care Aspirin to Go, was made for heart attack victims who are 23% more likely to survive by taking aspirin at the first signs of a heart attack. Within days of being on the market, the product was recognized for saving the life of a heart attack victim at Vail Ski Resort.[1]
