YES Prep Public Schools are a network of public, open-enrollment charter schools located all throughout Greater Houston. The YES network has its headquarters in Greater Sharpstown, Houston.[1][2] The YES program is a university-preparatory program for grades 6-12.

YES (which stands for Youth Engaged in Service) began in 1995 as Project YES.The program was founded at Rusk Elementary School in the Houston Independent School District. Since 1998, YES Prep has been operating under a state charter. Best known for it's family value mindset and "Whatever It Takes" ideology, YES Prep has been successfully graduating all of it's Yes Prep seniors since 2001. Ever since then has sent 100 percent of its graduating seniors to four-year colleges. It is to note that not all Seniors are able to attend college due to financial issues, but that is not to debunk that all Yes Prep students are to be admitted to a 4 year college and graduate from high school.

Beginning in 2003, YES opened a second campus in northeast Houston, eventually expanding to the ten campuses operating today. Over 6,400 students are served by the following schools the final goal is to be able to serve 10,000 students in Houston:

• YES Prep Southeast: located in Houston, the original YES campus serving grades 6-12.
• YES Prep North Central (originally YES Prep Northeast): located in Aldine, a census-designated place in an unincorporated area in Harris County - serving grades 6-12.
• YES Prep Southwest: located in an unincorporated area in Harris County serving grades 6-12
• YES Prep East End: located in the East End, serving grades 6-12. It was formerly located in the Northside district.

• YES Prep West: located in Chinatown, Houston, serving grades 6-9.
• YES Prep Brays Oaks (originally YES Prep South): located in the Brays Oaks district, serving grades 6-9.
