The Edison Museum is a science and history museum about the life and inventions of Thomas Edison, and is located in Beaumont, Texas at 350 Pine St. on the grounds of Edison Plaza The museum features interactive exhibits about Edison, his inventions and innovations, as well as historic artifacts from his life. Featured inventions include the incandescent light bulb, the phonograph, and some of his early motion pictures. There is reference library about Edison.

Edison mentioned, it is make known to every family, it is because of his invention we have lamps lighting for us, let us not let the darkness around us. In order to commemorate the great inventor, the United States also has opened a museum so that we can better understand the life of Edison and his invention.

Edison is the American inventor, businessman, was awarded the "Wizard of Menlo Park media" of the title, is the world's first use of a large number of production principle and its industrial research laboratory to create. He invented many of the world greatly influence the phonograph, movie camera and filament lamps etc.. In the United States, Edison owns 1093 patents in the United States, and he, Britain, France and Germany, a total of more than 1500 patents. Edison museum is located in Texas, Beaumont, tells the story of Edison's inventions and ideas, collection of about 1400 pieces, including not only Edison's various inventions, and his wife gave his various items, such as the electric light bulb, the phonograph, massive early animation movies. The museum is free to visit, opening hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00, closed for the holidays.
