Founded in 1976 by Rick Hendrick, the Charlotte, N.C. company operates 84 dealerships representing 30 nameplates, 109 franchises and 21 collision centers in 12 states: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. More than 7,500 people are employed by Hendrick Automotive Group.
