As a company, Dan Ryan Builders is a homebuilder that develops, builds and markets single family homes and townhomes. Since our founding in 1990, we have built and delivered approximately 10,000 homes.
About the Founder
Dan Ryan continues his family's legacy of homebuilding as Owner and President of Dan Ryan Builders and DRB Enterprises, Inc. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he was seven when his father moved the family to Columbia, Maryland. Dan's uncle successfully founded one of the East Coast's most financially successful and largest volume homebuilding companies. Dan's father, Jim, repeated the formula for success in Columbia, Maryland and founded a current Top Ten National home builder.
Having been born into such a strong family tradition of quality homebuilding, it was natural for Mr. Ryan to pursue his own dream of home building after graduating from James Madison University. Working with his father in various capacities, he held many roles including: Sales Management, Production and Division Coordinator. Already a smart businessman, Mr. Ryan now knew it was time to create his own legacy. In 1990, Dan Ryan Builders began building homes. Dan has come a long way from that first home in 1990 to having built nearly 10,000 homes for American families today.
