Young love is rocky, and it's been a pretty rocky road for Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. The couple first split in November 2012 after two years of dating, only to get back together and then reportedly split up again shortly afterward. Though Gomez, 20, and Bieber, 18, were spotted kissing during a pre-Christmas trip to Salt Lake City, sources are calling the couple dunzo once more. The Disney starlet and her singing beau flew to Mexico to celebrate New Year's Eve together, but the actress ended up flying home solo Dec. 30, 2012 after the two got in a huge argument. Bieber flew to L.A. by himself Dec. 31 and the two reportedly haven't seen each other since the blow up. Something tells us, though, we still haven't seen the last of this on-again-off-again duo.

If Selena Gomez was taking her split from Justin Bieber hard when she appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman in March 2013, she wasn’t showing it. Letterman joked, "Now, the last time he was on, uh, he and I got into a conversation, and I—he said something and then I said something, and then he said something and I said something, and I made him cry." And Gomez countered, "Well, then that makes two of us"—and got a fist bump from the host. But a few weeks later, Bieber posted some cozy photos of the two of them on Twitter—only to delete them soon after. But Gomez called things off again when he was spotted flirting with Miley Cyrus. And when a Washington, D.C., deejay asked Cyrus about her relationship with Bieber, she was definitive: "I'm engaged. That is impossible."
 
The teenybopper power couple first confirmed their relationship in early 2011. A media firestorm naturally followed, and they became an instant paparazzi favorite—until they called it quits in early November 2012. However, later that month, they were back together. A month after, they had reportedly broken up again, and Gomez has expressed her desire to be single as of late, even sharing with David Letterman that she made Bieber cry.

At this point, these two are officially OFF, but they’ve “reconciled” about 5 times since they announced they were officially done in November. To quote Selena’s BFF Taylor Swift, "we are never ever ever getting back together" and also, “its exhausting.”
