When Pink ended her marriage to Carey Hart in 2008, the split was so definitive that she wrote a defiant song about it—"So What"—in which she referred to the motocross racer as a "tool." But when it came time to shoot the music video for the song, their relationship was solid enough that Hart made a cameo. Two years later, after some marriage counseling, Pink announced that she and Hart had reconciled and were expecting their first child. "I'm in a relationship that I've been in for 10 years and it's never going to be perfect," Hart toldBillboard in 2012. "You're always just mad enough at me to write a song." To which Pink responded, "Yep. Thanks, baby, you’re my muse."
 
The Pink and Carey Hart saga starts ten years ago, when the singer and the professional motocross racer met at a sporting event. Ever the go-getter, Pink proposed to her beau during one of his races – while he was in the air! – by holding up signs reading ‘Will you marry me?’ and, after his second round, ‘I’m serious!’ They married a year later in Costa Rica, but surprisingly separated in 2008. The couple did stay friendly, however, with Carey appearing in one of Pink’s music videos. All was to end well though, as the pair started seeing each other again in 2009, and Pink announced she was pregnant in 2010! Explaining their situation, Carey said: "Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps back to move forward.” Makes sense to us!
