Miley Cyrus had us picking up our jaws from the ground when she stepped onto the stage to perform Wrecking Ball at Sunday night's American Music Awards.

And it was AH-mazing! Scratch that, it was purrrrfect. LOLz!

Just like her matching custom-made crop top and high-waisted bikini bottoms. Obsessed!

But we were surprised to find out that Markus Lupfer, the designer of the feline-tastic two-piece, had his mind blown seeing her outfit just like the rest of us!

The London-based designer revealed:
"We had been in touch with her team and were aware that she would be wearing it. But it was even more amazing than I had hoped. She looked fabulous! I liked everything. She rocked it! It’s such a fun print and worked with her performance perfectly."

If anyone was going to pull off these tongue-in-cheek pieces from his Spring 2014 collection, it was going to be Miley of course, with her tongue all the way out! HA!

Especially with a crying kitten in the background, complementing her ensem.
