IT MAY be sunny in Australia this time of year, but that didn't stop Angelina Jolie from wearing all black today.

The 38-year-old star was spotted directing her new film 'Unbroken' on the streets of Sydney, but rather than relaxing behind the camera in jeans and trainers, Angelina was dressed as if she was going to a funeral.

The mother-of-six showed off her petite frame in a pussy bow blouse dress designed by Yves Saint Laurent.

Angelina teamed the £1662 dress with a pair of plain black ballet pumps and quare-shaped sunglasses as she set about filming her second directorial.

Her long hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail and kept a rather serious face as she spoke to members of the cast and crew.

'Unbroken' is a chronicle of the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II.

The upcoming movie, which is based on the biography by Laura Hillenbrand, is scheduled for release in December 2014.

Whilst working Down Under, Angelina has been renting a property owned by five-time MotoGP world champion Mick Doohan.
