French magazine Studio Ciné Live is about to hit stands with an issue that features X-Men: Days of Future Past. A preview has hit the web that reveals a few of the pictures that we should expect in the spread. You can see the shots below, which depict fresh looks at both Bishop (Omar Sy) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence). The cover of the mag features Wolverine (Logan) standing between the past and future versions of Professor X and Magneto.

In the upcoming adaptation of the beloved X-Men comic book arc of the same name, Jackman’s Logan takes the place of Kitty Pryde as the character that unites the time-traveling story.

Directed by Bryan Singer- the man behind the first two X-films, who also “Godfathered” X-Men: First Class- X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to come out on May 23. Days will feature an all-star cast of past and present X-Men actors, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, and Nicholas Hault.

The film will also set up the already-announced sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse. Also of note, Days is reportedly the second most expensive production 20th Century Fox has ever invested in- second only to Avatar. It is thought that Fox intends to use this film as a way to begin maximizing their Marvel properties (they also own the rights to Fantastic Four- with a reboot currently in the works) by expanding the scope and scale of the stories, seemingly in response to what Marvel Studios has done with their Avengers franchise.
