When the day for American president election is counting down, Mo Tiancheng, the Deputy Minister of finance, the Federal Ministry of labour points that the American Chinese should learn how to participate in politics rather than simply attend the meeting.

Mo says that he hasn’t yet decided which one to vote for. However, there are three principals: First, which one is more friendly to Chinese. Second, which one has better methods towards immigration problems. Third, which one can find the balancing point as for citizen obligation and personal rights.

Mo says after solving the food and clothing problems, many American Chinese begin to play a role in American politics. Such tendency is great. Meanwhile, as they know little about American politics, they may be regarded as scapegoats. Mo suggest that the American Chinese should know more about American politics before plunging into the political activities.
