One of the wonders of NYC that's frequently forgotten. It's where Central Park meets shopping and city life. There are unique shopping stores, buildings that hosts beautiful archeticture, and statues that line the streets at Columbus Circle. You will also find slew of horse carriages that will charge a fee for a ride through Central Park. Central Park hosts many activities and nature sights to behold. In the summer, one can find many free concerts being held at the Circle or in the Park. Free movies, fairs and other events as well.

Columbus Circle is amazing!! Especially in summer. The sound of splashing water coming from the beautifully lit fountains, the colorful Time Warner Center, the grandiose Maine monument, the mouth of central park south! it is so nice just to grab some sushi or Indian food from Whole Foods and just come out here and sit. Even though there are signs everywhere proclaiming, "NO Skateboards or Rollerblades!" they are still always here, and it is actually very interesting to watch, so I don't mind.

This is one of if not the closest spot in NYC to compare to Una piazza italiana! Minus the public drinking of course. But a beautiful spot to just relax. Great street views and people watching. The addition of Peter Woytuk's Elephants are also well appreciated to me. Very unique and they seem very popular with people just passing by too. Every one wants a picture. Neat Pieces of art.

This place is relatively nicely maintained as well, especially in summer when they put out the flowers and such. Just such a nice spot.
