Bruno’s Italian Restaurant has been a favorite of locals for over 20 years. Located in the heart of Santa Monica on Ocean Avenue one block from the Santa Monica Pier, if anyone is looking for delicious, authentic, Italian cuisine, this is the place!

Next to the Parlor, Q's and Cabo, South satisfies. They serve similar patrons: Frat boys, sorority girls, young professionals, bored people who love to drink, sports enthusiasts.. they strike up conversations at the long wood bar or on the outdoor patio overlooking Wilshire Boulevard.

 

Though it's much more about the scene than the food, there is a menu: New Orleans fare (crawfish etouffee and jambalaya), Southern favorites like fried okra, barbecued chicken and creamy mac-and-cheese. But despite the extensive menu, this isn't an ideal spot for dining. Food is mediocre. just stick to the flat screens and the drafts.
