The citrus and apple martini top notes add an element of freshness at the beginning without being too sweet or strong. They don’t last long.

The main notes I pick up are the lavender and rosewood which have a calming effect. While lavender is a key note in the fragrance it is still soft. Nothing in the perfume really stands out on its own. The ingredients combine well with harmony.

The patchouli is subtle but adds a touch of oriental spice. The amber is warm and the musk sensual. The woody drydown is gorgeous and gives the perfume lasting power.
Lovely is not girly or mature but a perfume for women of all ages including many that would not normally opt for a celebrity perfume. Lovely is easy to wear and could even be worn by a man although the lovely packaging would probably turn him off.
