First look: Kate Moss for Playboy's 60th anniversary issue

The first image from Kate Moss's shoot for Playboy's 60th anniversary issue has been released, and it seems she's fully embraced the publication's trademark 'bunny girl' look.

Though we won't see Moss's Playboy cover and full editorial until the January/February issue hits shelves in December, readers will get a glimpse of what to expect in the 'Next Month' section of the December issue, out on Friday, November 15.

The shoot has been styled by W Magazine's fashion director Alex White and shot by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, long-time friends of Moss.

The news that the Croydon-born supermodel was to appear in and on the publication for the first time was confirmed by Playboy's editorial director, Jimmy Jellinek, in September following months of speculation.

"This is a massive global brand," he said. "You need a global icon in order to celebrate that - that was the impetus. You're talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy. She's the perfect partner for us to help launch the next 60 years."

The issue will coincide nicely with another personal landmark for Moss - she'll turn 40 on January 16.
