Kevin P. O’Keefe is a Principal of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. He provides investment banking advisory service to community banks and thrifts in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, capital management strategies, defense and corporate strategies.
 
Mr. O’Keefe started in Sandler O’Neill’s Investment Banking Group in 1996 in the firm’s New York headquarters. In 2004, he moved to the firm’s newly established Atlanta office to help strengthen Sandler O’Neill’s investment banking practice in the Southeast.
 
Mr. O’Keefe has served as lead financial advisor in numerous significant bank and thrift merger and capital transactions, including the $1.2 billion Second Step Conversion of Capitol Federal Financial, Inc. and the $603 million sale of Connecticut Bancshares, Inc. to New Haven Savings Bank.
 
Mr. O’Keefe holds a BSBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
