Barry Diller and John Malone have had a long, odd and sometimes contentious corporate marriage. Now they’re getting a divorce. 
 
Malone’s Liberty Media plans to swap out its equity stake in Diller’s Internet conglomerate, IAC/InterActiveCorp, in exchange for $220 million in cash and for IAC’s Evite and Gifts.com businesses. One added twist for Diller: He’s stepping down as IAC’s CEO, the companies said today in a statement….The relationship grew strainedas Diller and Malone duked it out in court over a disagreement about Diller’s 2008 breakup of IAC into pieces. -
