A rep for the former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star has confirmed that the actress, 37, and her NFL boyfriend, 25, are no longer a couple.
 
Sanchez told his pals that the split came just before Sunday’s big game against the New England Patriots.  That game ended in a 29-26 loss for the Jets quarterback when he fumbled the ball in overtime, allowing New England to score a field goal.
 
Rumors suggest she called off their romance because he was seen flirting early Saturday morning with a blonde he met while party with pals at hotspot The Darby in NYC’s West Village.
 
Sanchez’s rep put a different spin on it with this comment, “It was really more about scheduling…they will remain close friends.”
 
Longoria ended her high profile marriage to NBA player Tony Parker at the end of 2010 after discovering hundreds of text messages from another woman on her husband’s phone.
