After a dozen years of marriage, Jason Aldean and Jessica Ussery are getting a divorce.

The couple announced a separation earlier this month and now insiders confirm to People that the country singer has filed to make their split legal and official.

Papers were filed on April 26 in Williamson County, Tennessee, with Aldean listing "irreconcilable differences" as the basis for this break-up.

Those sorts of differences arise, of course, when cameras catch you cheating, which is the fate that befell Aldean in October.

He was spotted kissing Brittany Kerr, admitting to the infidelity and apologizing for it on Facebook soon after.

Clearly - and understandably, from Ussery's point of view - such an admission was way too little and far too late.
