I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! host Declan Donnelly has flown his girlfriend Ali Astall out to the Australian jungle, telling friends that she is ‘the one’.

The 38-year-old star began dating TV talent manager Ali, 34, earlier this year after the couple had been working together for 10 years.

A source told the Daily Mirror they were ‘inseparable’ and added: ‘Dec wanted Ali to be by his side and made sure she could stay for as long as he has to be out there.

‘Their relationship is quite serious and Dec has told friends she’s the one he will marry. It’s a no-brainer she would stay out there with him.’

The insider added that Ali has already visited Dec in the jungle when they were just friends.

The couple are spending as much time together as possible, with Ali having moved into a home close to Dec’s eight-bedroom house in Chiswick, West London.

But there was no romance for Dec’s sidekick Ant McPartlin, who celebrated his 38th birthday on Monday.

The star’s wife Lisa Armstrong, 37, was back home in the UK, while he celebrated with drinks with  Dec and Ali.

Ant told the Mirror that he was having to delay his partying for 24 hours as he had a show in the morning.

The hosts have also been experiencing less than ideal weather in the jungle, with severe storms and gales. 

Meanwhile, the show, which is now in its 13th series, has continued to break ratings records.

The Sunday night debut of the series peaked with a huge 12.9 million viewers, giving the show a 48 per cent share of viewing.

This made the show the highest live overnight audience of the year and also the highest launch audience figure in the show's 13 season history.
