Julia and Daniel were married on July 4, 2002 at midnight with fireworks at Julia's approximate 40-acre, $2-$3 million ranch outside Taos, New Mexico near the community of Arroyo Seco. They were married under an arch of white and pink sheaths and within a circle of scattered red, white and pink rose petals.
The bride was given away by Mick Devine, a friend who is a driver from Dublin, Ireland. There were no groomsmen, bridesmaids, or flower girls.

Wedding Officiant :
Barry Hirsch, minister, therapist, lawyer, and friend of Julia's performed the simple ceremony that included simple, handwritten vows. The marriage license was personally prepared by Taos County Clerk Jeannette Rael.

The approximate 50 guests (primarily friends and family) were asked to wear white linen. Most were flown in from Los Angeles on a private jet. Wedding guests were were asked to bring a special plant so they could become part of a special wedding garden on the ranch.
