The comic genius behind "30 Rock" met composer Jeff Richmond while the two were trying to make a name for themselves in Chicago's Second City.
According to an interview in
Vanity Fair, the couple fell in love after spending just a day together at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. After dating for seven years, the couple finally had a Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony.
They now have two daughters and have been married for 11 years.
Richmond has occasionally acted in bit roles but he now composes the score for Fey's own TV creation, "30 Rock."
