Lauren Laniece Lake (born July 12, 1969) is an American family lawyer, author, interior designer, real estate developer, background singer, legal/relationship/life consultant, guest host, and talk show presenter.

Lake is a wife and a mother of one. She is married to Delaware State University graduate and former Hornet linebacker Carlos Woods (03'). Woods earned hismaster's degree from Pennsylvania State University. After that, he worked with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts on a paid internship basis, serving as a defensive assistant, scouting assistant and administrative staffer, under then head coach Tony Dungy.
While working with the Colts, Woods met Lake. The couple later married in 2007. The couple has a son, Carlos (C.J.), Jr., reported as being two years of age in August 2012. Woods spent 2011 away from football to help care for his son and operate a sports training business in New York. Said Woods of his break from football involvement: "It was my first year away from football in a long time, but it was a blessing to spend more time with my wife and son."[

In 2012, Woods returned to Delaware State University, serving as a football coach. Regarding his return, Woods stated, "My return to Delaware State allows me to stay close to my family. It's great to return to DSU and reunite with so many people who helped me along the way."

Lake has resided in Detroit, Michigan; Southfield, Michigan; Oak Park, Michigan; Hackensack, New Jersey; Teaneck, New Jersey; etc. From 2006 into 2010, Lake lived in Decatur, Georgia. In 2011, she lived in Edgewater, New Jersey. Currently, Lake resides in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
