Matthew and Camila had a backyard wedding at their home in Austin, Texas on June 9, 2012. According to the Daily Mail, Camila decided to take Matthew's surname.

The Daily Mail also reported that if guests wanted to stay at Matthew and Camila's home, they were offered "state-of-the art tents which lined the back yard. The luxury temporary abodes, numbered 1-47, are in four rows in the garden and are said to be kitted out with beds, cosy white fur rugs on the floor, and outdoor seating with doormats at the front. They have also been equipped with what appears to be high-tech air-conditioning units."

Wedding guest: "There were about 100 of his close friends and family there," one wedding guest tells Us of the "high-end," campout-themed soiree. "[The ceremony] was very emotional. There was a moment when[Matthew] leaned down and whispered something in [Camila's] ear and you could see a tear coming down her face. Everyone let out a collective sigh."

The wedding cake at the reception was red-velvet decorated with flags of Texas and Brazil.
