All United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) approved Regional Centers enable qualified foreign investors to participate and create employment for residents of the United States while simultaneously allowing the investor to apply for conditional and then permanent residency.

The number of EB-5 Visas allocated increases substantially each year, with Regional Centers serving as the main hub for investors to connect with. As per the United States State Department Records, 9,499 EB-5 Visas have been distributed from the conception of the program to 2012. The table below depicts the investment in American businesses as a result of this program:

Note: The figures shown above assume all individuals invested $500,000 rather than $1,000,000 each. A small fraction of the surveyed group invested $1.0 million rather than $500,000.

With current visa allocations set to an annual 10,000, the estimated economic impact from the EB-5 program is $5.09 billion USD each year.
