Congress passed the "Geary Act" (Geary Act) mainly as follows:

(1) 1882 years Chinese Exclusion Act prohibited Chinese laborers Immigration Act to extend 10 years.

(3) requires the Chinese registration: Every Chinese in America, must have at least one white recognized with the prestigious Paul as proof of residence in order to register. Chinese American to be in 1983 before the end of April to complete the registration.

(4) Every Chinese in America to be registered and carry a residence permit. Violators will be punished with hard labor year deportation or punishment.

1893 annual Management Act Jill was Macri amendment (McCreary Amendment ) replaced. Geary case will be registered under the Act to extend the period from six months to 1893 years 10 months only.
