Burlingame Treaty
U.S. signed Burlingame article about ( Burlingame - Seward Treaty) , can be recognized by their own people of the country immigrants each other and equal treatment.

"Burlingame Treaty" ( Burlingame Treaty ) provides:
(A)  nationals in the other two countries because of different religious beliefs shall not be " bullied abuse " , " Qu suppression mistreated " .
(2) the people of the two countries shall be forbidden intercourse, trade, travel, living in naturalization.
(3) United States grant each other the other people of the kingdom "best country" people's treatment.
(4) into the two peoples can be found in other large public elementary school, and let stand school.

According to this Act, Chinese immigrants to the United States is encouraged. But as I was too much opposition in Congress, President Hayes (President Rutherford B. Hayes) security of its diplomats had to accept their fate, Seoul (James Burrill Angell) in 1880 was re-negotiations with China. The treaty was later revised to suspend, but not prohibit, Chinese immigrants, while recognizing that the United States has an obligation to protect immigrants in the United States.

Act in 1882 after the passage of the Chinese Exclusion Act was invalid.
