Lin v. Rice
1924 , the year-old Lin Masha (Martha Lum) because it is a Chinese descent, and was Mississippi Bo Lihua County Rorsted Union High School (Rosedale Consolidated High School) of the Council refused admission. So Taft conclusion is : the state government the right to manage its public schools, the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution and there is no conflict.

So the Mississippi Supreme Court's decision is confirmed, Lin Masha do not get white schools.

The case was later 1954 years of the Brown case (Brown V. Board of Education ) are overthrown, the case confirmed the implementation of the policy of apartheid public schools illegal.
