Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland, the first and only acute rehabilitation hospital in Montgomery County, first opened our doors in January 2001 to offer specialized inpatient and outpatient treatment for persons with functional limitations. We care for patients 18 years of age or older and, under special circumstances, emancipated minors.
 
 Services
They offer comprehensive rehabilitation programs for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, sports related injuries, work-related injuries, cardiopulmonary conditions and neurological disorders.
 
Locations
Adventist Rehab has two hospital locations: a free-standing 55-bed hospital next to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, MD and a 22-bed hospital located on the 5th floor of Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, MD. Adventist Rehab also provides outpatient rehabilitation services both at our hospital location in Rockville and our community-based center in Silver Spring, MD.

All patient services and business practices are conducted according to the highest ethical and professional standards. Patient rights are upheld and protected by all employees of the organization. No patient will be excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of, any care or services on the grounds of race, color, national origin, age or disability. Patients are billed only for services and care provided. All reimbursable charges are billed to patients' insurance companies. Every effort is made to ensure that prospective patients are provided complete and accurate information to assist them and their families in making informed decisions as to care and recommended services. Infringements of Adventist Rehab organizational ethics should be reported to the Compliance Officer.
