Dr. Vallo Benjamin is internationally considered a master surgeon for intracranial tumors of the skull base and in complex spinal procedures. He did pioneering work in development of anterior approaches to the spinal column for trauma, tumors and degenerative diseases of the spine in the early 1970s. In the early 1990s, he served as the Acting Chairman for the Department of Neurosurgery. Dr. Benjamin is a professor of neurosurgery and currently treats patients with spine disease, including stenosis, tumors, and herniated discs. He also has extensive experience treating patientsmeningiomas. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed neurosurgical journals.
