How does it work?

Through the use of your computer’s scanner and proprietary software, an Rx bottle is scanned for ordering. Scan & Toss® will then capture the scanned bottle information from its UPC code and transmit the order to API’s warehouse or to Cardinal Health, depending upon product availability and pricing.

From OTC’s and personal care products to sundries and vitamins, Retail plan-o-grams supports retail sets designed specifically for independent drug stores.

 

How does it work?

1. Sets are developed by evaluating an item’s sales and potential profitability.

2. Market Basket logic is then applied to see how items interrelate between categories and produce the maximum sales as possible.

3. Turn is also calculated as part of the equation.

4. Once the sets are determined, vendors are approached for funding.

5. Vendors that agree to accruals are given access to their plan-o-grams on-line and also given reporting to justify their expense for the program.

 

Because plan-o-grams are web-based, there’s no need to maintain books that you’d manually update – your store sets are always available!
