Officials at NAS Pensacola said a U.S. Navy T-45C Goshawk aircraft crashed at the approach end of a runway.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 4.

They said the two-seat training aircraft, assigned to Training Squadron 86. was conducting a routine training flight.

Authorities said two air crew are being treated at a local hospital. No word on their condition. Their names are being withheld for privacy reasons.

Officials said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
