Law Debenture in the US provides corporate trust services through Law Debenture Trust Company of New York and its corporate services through Law Debenture Corporate Services Inc. and Delaware Corporate Services Inc.
The Law Debenture Corporation was founded as a limited company in 1889 to facilitate the issue of corporate debentures. Its share capital has always been listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The corporation was established by a group of prominent businessmen, politicians and lawyers, with many of the founders of leading professional firms amongst them. One of them was Edwin Waterhouse of Price Waterhouse, now pwc.

Law Debenture Trust Company of New York is chartered by the New York State Department of Banking and provides independent corporate trust services, including successor trustee services.
Law Debenture Corporate Services Inc. provides services as an agent to receive process in legal proceedings.
In 2007 Delaware Corporate Services Inc. was acquired in Wilmington, Delaware where it provides a range of corporate services.
The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. is now a leading UK investment trust with a diversified portfolio of investments and an independent fiduciary services business with offices in New York, Delaware,London,Hong Kong, the Channel Islands, the Cayman Islands and Sunderland. It is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
