Bentley Alumni Launch New Startup to Fight Malnutrition

5/8/2013
Three Bentley alumni, Lisa Curtis ('06), Jordan Moncharmont ('04) and Nadia Mufti (’07) have recently launched an exciting new Oakland startup called Kuli Kuli, a sustainable food company that aims to change the face of malnutrition. The team has been hard at work for two years creating a superfood bar made with the miracle plant called moringa. They hope to fight malnutrition and stimulate economic growth in Africa with this product that will soon be distributed around the world.

On Monday, May 6, 2013 they launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise enough money to do their first manufacturing run, begin distributing their product in grocery stores, and build up their supply in West Africa. They raised half of their $50,000 goal after their first day! To view their campaign video and donate to their cause, visit their Indiegogo page below.
