The SAT writing section essay writing portion is specifically designed to evaluate an individual's ability to analyze a particular subject or issue and then convey that analysis in an essay. However, keeping certain general considerations about the essay portion of the SAT writing section of the exam in mind may make it easier to score well.

During this pre-writing period, prioritize the key concepts on the basis of importance and jot this outline down on paper. Each paragraph may have a key concept and supporting statements, until you get to the close or conclusion of your essay.
