The Advanced Placement English Literature course offers high school students an opportunity to study in depth on a college level. Advanced Placement courses prepare students for college and stand out on admissions applications. Students earn college credit for scoring well on the AP test offered. They can then begin their college education in upper-level literature classes. There are resources available to learn more about the course and test, and to help you through the year.

Online Resources
●The primary online source is the College Board site which distributes the Advanced Placement tests. Other sites offer study help and practice test questions, as well as forums where you can discuss the course with other students and teachers. Many teachers and former AP classes have made their own sites which you can find in a browser search.

apstudynotes.org
sparknotes.com
cliffsnotes.com
bartleby.com (literature resource site)

Books
●Several books have been published to help students prepare for the AP tests. They can be found at most bookstores and libraries. Tutoring and Workshops
●Many school districts offer workshops that help students prepare for tests in general.
