Florida is tempting cold New Yorkers with a little taste of the sunshine state ... in the form of a bus shelter.
It's snowing in New York today. Wind chill might even bring the temperatures into the single digits. Unsurprisingly, Florida's tourism industry is taking advantage.
To entice winter-weary New Yorkers, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau has transformed one Manhattan bus shelter into an oasis. The shelter, at the busy cross-town M42 stop between Lexington and Third Avenue, features heated benches and a bright yellow, beach chair-inspired design.
